Dear MotorMania Supporter
It is with much regret that we must advise that this year’s MotorMania event has had to be cancelled at the very last minute.
You will be aware that we planned to include the MotorMania vehicles as a section within the Truck In2 Grantown show, and we were looking forward to welcoming both vehicles and supporters to the show on Saturday morning. However Highland Council informed us yesterday that, despite being a part of the fully licensed Truck In2 Grantown show, we would need to apply for a totally separate license, which we cannot do in the time available.
Without this separate license we are unable to participate in the show.
We fully appreciate that this will be a disappointment to you and can only apologise once again for the short notice and any inconvenience involved.
We thank you for your ongoing support for our event which we have been trying to keep going under difficult circumstances. As many of you will realise, the significant amount of “red tape” that is now required to put on a show of this size makes our task increasingly difficult.
We will now be considering options for the future and will keep our website and Facebook pages updated as soon as we have more to report.
