MotorMania 2021 is Cancelled

MotorMania 2021 is Cancelled

It is with much regret that we announce the cancellation of Grantown Motormania 2021.

We know this will be a disappointment for many who enjoy the event, but as organisers we need to take into consideration the safety and wellbeing of everyone.

At the moment there is still too much that is unpredictable, and we do not know what controls will need to be in place or what the guidelines could be at the time of the show.

Many years ago, Grantown Motormania was set up by some like-minded individuals who wanted to bring an event into Grantown for car enthusiasts, along with support for the town’s businesses and charity groups.  Its success has been down to this group and volunteers who have given dedication and hard work to its growth and massive appeal averaging around 400 cars each year and raising much needed funds for groups and organisations in Grantown On Spey.  We and many others would like to say a huge ‘Thank you’ although words are not enough to our Chair – Ewan Sutton, and Secretary – Duncan Grant who have chosen to stand down after many years of dedicated input to the event.

We would like to encourage anyone out there who has an interest in helping out in the community, and the feelgood factor of being part of something that is as special as Motormania.

So, whether you are passionate about cars, a meticulous organiser, a health and safety guru, event planner, or just wanting to learn how we work and be actively involved, we would be delighted to hear from you, and if you have good tea/coffee making skills that’s a bonus.

If you are apprehensive and would like to chat about what may be involved in being a committee member or volunteer, please feel free to email us at and we can arrange to have an informal chat.

We look forward to Grantown-Motormania  – September 2022
